Laybye & Trade-In Policy
Standard Laybye Policy
- Laybye Duration: Our laybye option is available for a period of 6 months.
- Payment Method: Payments are made via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
Cancelling a Laybye
- Cancellation Fee: If you cancel a laybye, a cancellation fee of 40% is charged.
Example: If you put a laybye on an iPhone 8 that costs R5,500, your monthly payments would be as follows:
- Month 1: R500
- Month 2: R1000
- Month 3: R1000
- Month 4: R1000
- Month 5: R1000
- Month 6: R1000
You will receive the device after completing six full monthly installments.
Trade-Ins
- Eligible Devices: Trade-ins start from iPhone 8 Plus.
- Required Documents: You need to provide the cellphone receipt for a successful trade-in.
- Device Evaluation: After producing the receipt, we will diagnose and evaluate the device.
Returns and Refunds Policy
Standard Return Policy
- Return Window: You have 7 days from the date of receipt to return an item for a full refund.
- Eligible Items: Only items purchased directly from us, either online or at any Apple Kitchen store, are eligible for a refund.
- Condition of Returns: Ensure the item is repackaged with all cords, adapters, and documentation that were included when you received it.
Refunds
- Processing Time: A full refund is initiated immediately or within 14 days of purchase.
- Refund Method:
- EFT Payments: Refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within 14 business days of receiving the returned item or cancellation request.
- Cash Payments: A notification will be sent within 14 business days of receiving the returned item or cancellation request to collect your refund.
Exchange an Item
- Exchange Policy: If you purchased your item from us, you can take it to any of our stores for an exchange. Item exchanges are subject to in-store product availability. It’s advisable to check product stock before visiting a store.
How to Return an Item
- Return Locations: Bring your item to any of our stores or ship/courier it back to the store from which you purchased it.
Instructions for Returning an Item:
Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund according to the payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds will be initiated within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
Package the Item: Repack the item securely with all cords, adapters, and documentation that were included when you received it.
Include Proof of Purchase: Ensure you include the original receipt or proof of purchase.
Visit the Store or Ship the Item:
In-Store: Take the item to any Apple Kitchen store. Our staff will assist you with the return process.
Shipping: If you prefer to ship the item, courier it back to the store from which you purchased it. Include a note with your contact information and reason for return.
